The NetSecure Foundation continued its Cyber Shiksha Abhiyaan campaign with a major cyber awareness workshop at Mahatma Gandhi School, Mansarovar, reaching over 200 students and faculty members. The session focused on cyberbullying prevention, password protection, and responsible use of social media platforms.
The Foundation’s experts conducted live demos showing how phishing and identity theft occur and how simple steps — like enabling two-factor authentication — can prevent such attacks. Teachers were also briefed on helping students safely navigate digital platforms and report cyber incidents.
“Digital safety is no longer optional. Students spend hours online daily, and it’s our collective duty to equip them with digital resilience,” said Mr. Roopesh Sharma, Director, NetSecure Foundation.
The session concluded with students taking the Cyber Safety Pledge and receiving bilingual awareness booklets. The Foundation plans to scale its Cyber Shiksha campaign to 50+ Jaipur schools by next year.
